As we embarked on the journey of planning Anand and Megha’s dream wedding, our mission was clear: to find a venue that would not only accommodate their cherished loved ones but also create an enchanting backdrop for each event, fostering connections and crafting unforgettable memories. After an extensive search throughout Europe, The Ritz-Carlton, Abama in Tenerife emerged as the true heart-stealer. With its captivating deep orange hues juxtaposed against the azure ocean, it bore an uncanny resemblance to a palace plucked straight from the pages of an Indian fairy tale. Anand and Megha, fell head over heels in love with its exquisite beauty and unparalleled versatility, knowing in our hearts that it would infuse our wedding weekend with the kind of magic that would make it truly exceptional.
We hope you love their photos and videos as much as we do!

The couple’s wedding extravaganza unfolded over three magical days.
The festivities started with the Haldi ceremony at the Persian Gardens, a serene oasis within the resort. Surrounded by the stunning landscape and ocean views, we cherished the moments of laughter and love as Haldi was playfully smeared on us.
To set the stage for an unforgettable weekend, we always imagined a beachy Tulum-style vibe for the Welcome Party. With ocean views as our backdrop, we mingled with our guests, sipped refreshing Aperol spritzes, and indulged in delectable cuisines from around the world prepared by the talented chefs at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama. As the sky lit up with fireworks, we kicked off the party, dancing the night away to celebrate the start of our weekend.
Drawing inspiration from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” the Sangeet was a fairytale come true. The pool area was transformed into a dreamy wonderland adorned with pastel colours. Our bespoke entrance, accompanied by dhol players, was a captivating moment, and the performances by our loved ones touched our hearts deeply. We revelled in the joyous atmosphere, dancing, and singing the night away under the starlit sky.
Our wedding day felt like stepping into a fairy tale. As the first rays of sun-kissed Tenerife, I felt a mix of excitement and serenity as I prepared for the most momentous occasion of my life. Donning a breathtaking ivory Sabyasachi lehenga, I felt like a princess ready to embark on a lifelong journey of love with Anand. We shared an emotional first look, capturing a moment of pure happiness and anticipation.
Amidst cheers and laughter, Anand arrived for the baraat, and the spirited celebration began. A friendly brawl to steal his shoes added a touch of tradition and fun. As I walked down the aisle to the melody of “Hold This” by Abi Sampa, surrounded by our cherished ones, I felt an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude. The mandap, adorned with lush green and white flowers, made us feel like we were in a garden of love, high above the ocean.
For the grand finale, we embraced a Tropical Disco theme for our reception. Mirror dancers welcomed our guests to a wonderland of disco balls and tropical leaves, setting the stage for a night of endless fun and celebration. The black and white striped dance floor became our stage as we danced the night away, creating memories that would forever light up our hearts.
