The Story
Founder and Director, Karishma, planned her first wedding at just twenty-two years old – it was seemingly fate. Born in Mumbai, Karishma moved to Tenerife with her family as an infant and to this day, claims it was the best decision they’ve ever made. While studying medicine at university, Karishma gained her first client through a contact from her mother (a beautician). Initially, it was her role to assist with the Welcome Dinner, acting as a local planner and translator. The family quickly identified her strengths in planning and organisation, and over the next few months Karishma became their designated wedding planner. Hosted at the Ritz-Carlton, Abama, it is still the largest wedding recorded to take place on the Canary Islands. Alongside her dedicated and expert team, Karishma has since planned multiple unforgettable weddings, events and celebrations across the world, with 7,000 guests, extensive venues and the most elaborate and extravagant details.

The tri-lingual team will be on hand from your initial enquiry right through to the very last moments at the airport so that you enjoy first-class guest hospitality, impeccable organisation and a level of creativity that you didn’t even know was possible. From the arrival of your loved ones through to the bride & groom’s entrance, every detail has been finely planned so that everything comes together to create a perfectly orchestrated event.
Karishma Manwai Events have planned weddings in London, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Dubai and more. The team get to know couples and families, creating a relationship where you can relax and invest your trust, knowing your celebration is in the safest of hands. The services are tailored to suit you and your lifestyle – with a complimentary consultation, followed by a detailed proposal and then the planning begins.
The KME team will then create an aesthetic-focused mood board, taking into account your dreams, ideas and visions for how your wedding will unfold. Once approved, they will begin selecting suitable vendors (over the years, Karishma has built a whole host of prestigious suppliers) and the design of your day will start coming together. A cost breakdown from each vendor and the venue will be offered, and deposits will be confirmed. Two months prior to your event, a venue visit will take place where any final details will also be discussed. When the big day arrives, the KME team will be there by your side to ensure a flawless execution and the promise of magical memories.
